Hey guys, I saw you when you played at the Mussel Inn in Golden Bay (near Collingwood). Got your CD then as well and love it, brings back great memories of my travels and well, it's just awesome! Hope to see you guys perform when you start touring again! Have fun, Cheers, Cerys.

I was fortunate enough to stay at Augill Castle in the beautiful Eden Valley this April, and I came across a CD of of yours.
I really think "Paris" is a thing of beauty. Please know that at least one person in Greenwood Heights, Brooklyn, listens to its regularly, tonight accompanied with a glass of Ardbeg.

Hello Jo and Jon! We really enjoyed your concerts (we heard you three times!) at Chester this weekend. Hope you had a safe trip back to Kent! You are both really talented and we are jealous of the wonderful year you must have had! Hope to catch you again soon. All the best, Cassy and Craig.

Came to the Christchurch Folk Club last night to hear your gorgeous songs! Especially loved the Monsoon song. Will definitely be back to hear you again in 2008. Thanks again for coming to NZ. Have a wonderful rest of your stay here, and a safe trip back home.

Thank you for your time spent with the apprentices at The Orpheus Centre in July 2006 and best regards from my son Richard Francis who you accompanied by singing 'Going Home' for him. He has watched the DVD of the concert seven times to date, almost as much as his Cliff Richard and Donny Osmond discs!

Very much enjoyed your playing last night at the freezing St Francis Church, and liking very much both of the CDs that we bought. Look forward to hearing you again sometime.

The CDs arrived thanks! I've been enjoying them on my train journeys to/from work, and they've been the perfect antidote to the mad season. My faves so far are predictably Home and Lifeless. Lifeless troubles me though: it's such an upbeat toon, yet my interpretation of the lyrics is a troubled girl who's taken her own life. The two seem to jar together, but is that the idea?
Caliko - like discovering Wagamama after a lifetime of eating in Pizza Hut.

Hi people, just to let you know I thought you were fantastic at Acoustic Slice and lots of poeple have said the same. When you're on your way back through Liverpool again it would be lovely to have you back if you get a spare date in your diary.
All the best!

Hi there, I really loved what you two did tonight in Liverpool.
It was really lovely. I've got a day off tomorrow so will give a
listen to the CDs in a nice quiet space in the day. Maybe when I
have a nice pie and a cup of earl grey tea. Got to go. Much love
to Caliko. I love it when I discover a new band to cherish. PS.
Isn't the accordion a lovely underrated instrument? I want one in
my band when I'm good enough to record my songs.

It was great to meet you guys yesterday. I never knew I liked
Coffeehouse Folk till I listened to your downloads - superb! Love
'Home', very poignant. I must confess that I'm Caliko's latest groupie,
now I've heard your fabulous music (and WONDERFUL voice!). Hope
to catch the real thing soon, that you're not getting too blown
away right now and are still enjoying life, even if you are '...many
miles from Home'!

Well worth making the trip all the way from Australia just
to see you guys perform at Dukes at the Sidmouth Folk Festival back
in August. When are you guys coming to Oz, as The Woodford Folk
Festival in Queensland requires your presence one New Year?
Most Memorable Song: Queen of Singapore (when does that become available
to the masses?)
Most Memorable Moment: Lying in the Botanical Gardens listening
to you rehearse

Went along to Wheal Dream Folk as usual, not knowing what to
expect from Caliko. Hugely impressed with your great vocals and
subtle instrumentation, and that you are caravanning in the winter!
Good luck.

Really was a special evening at The Beacon - enjoyed it thoroughly.
Also thanks for the cds, which I've been playing non-stop in the
kitchen - not because they encourage knife-work, rather that the
harmonies are intriguing and I'm amazed at the economy of Jon's
lyrics. Hope to see you sometime over Christmas.

It was a first on two counts... not having heard you before,
really enjoyed your gig in Leeds, strong songs and lyrics... and
first time I have been to City Varieties. Leeds born and bred 47
years old, two memorable firsts! Albums I bought, excellent... you
have a great voice and provide great background when working from
home. Two questions 1. any new albums due? and 2. the caravan you
use is that a silver TAB... if so, very cool? Keep up the good work...

Guys! Your new pics pages are fantastic. It's much better to
be able to click for a bigger version & the links within those
pages to your tour diary & the Orpheus Centre etc. are fully
in the spirit of the web. I see I've made it in there now, I'm famous!!!

Just to say that it was a treat to see you play recently in York.
Like many others I was very impressed by your strong songs and natural
performance style. I've been enjoying your CDs a lot - Garden of
Stones is a real gem. It can only be a matter of time before you
break through. Best wishes for the rest of the tour and smooth travels
in the Caliko pod. Watch out for Margaret Beckett!

Greetings Caliko. You played an amazing set at The Retreat in
Tunbridge Wells on Wednesday 10th May. Jo, your voice is simply
sublime and I can safely say that I have not heard as pure a sound
as yours for many, many moons! All the best and hope to hear you
soon.
